Thank you for arranging such a wonderful Bhutan trip

Hi Sonam

Thanks for arranging my trip. I had a wonderful trip in Bhutan.

I would like to highlight to you that my driver (uncle rock) and my guide from 3rd day onwards (Chokey Wangchuk) are great!

They are very helpful and kind throughout the trip. We have also met other guide along the trip - Tshering Dendup, who is also very cheerful and fun.

I didn't realize that I can fly to Bangkok and spend a few more days there like what other tourists have done. With this, the trip would be even more fruitful.

Generally, the food and accommodation in Bhutan are alright. But there are just a few places where the weather is just too cold for me.

Hence, I would recommend your company to consider the accommodation with good heater facilities.

On top of that, I also hope that your company will

An enjoyable stay in Bhutan

Hi Sonam,

Thanks for your email. I enjoyed my stay in Bhutan.

Both my guide and driver (KP and Tandin) were great and made my stay there a fun and memorable one. I have written lots of good stuff about them in the feedback form that I passed to KP on my last day in Bhutan hence you may want to refer to that. Here are the photos for sharing.

Thanks & regards,
Nena

A lovely time in Bhutan

Punakha Dzong

Hi Sonam,

Kuzuzangpo La! Sorry for the late reply.

Thank you, we had a lovely time in Bhutan! The weather was nice & cool, only a little chilly in the evening. We appreciate this opportunity to give some feedback.

1. Guide

Under your Accommodation voucher, our guide’s name was stated as Mrs Tshering Palden, so we were a little taken aback when a guy approached us with my name at the airport arrival hall. He turned out to be KP (Kinley Penjor) & our quiet & friendly driver was Tshering (Mr).

We found KP to be polite & knowledgeable about culture & history but he does not deliver the information in an interesting manner. He is helpful when we voiced certain requests & he tries his best to fulfil them. However, he could have been more pro-active & ATTENTIVE in anticipating his guests’ ne

Experiencing great and wonderful Bhutan

Dear Sonam,

Thank you very much on the arrangement.

We were back from Bhutan, and would like to let you know that we had a great and wonderful time there.

We would like to thank to the experience tour guide, KP and skillful Dorji. Both of them did a great job to show us around. Both of them are great and very helpful.

By the way, I will give some of my friends your email address as after they have seen my posts @ Facebook. They want to plan for the trip to Bhutan.

Once again, thank you very much.

Tashi Delek. :)

Best regards,
Yee Ling

A enjoyable memorable Bhutan trip

Hello Sonam,

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and was indeed a memorable trip. I'm still in the midst of organising my photos and I did take some photos of our home stay for you. Will be happy to share our photos.

Cecilia's 60th birthday was also a very memorable one for her. Thanks to you for helping us put through the special surprise request and KP arranged for a birthday cake. It was also a particularly meaningful birthday for her as she also had the opportunity to make offerings to Guru Rinpoche that day which was an auspicious one. The next day was also a memorable one for the group as KP helped us identify another auspicious day to hang our prayer flags at one of the pass.

KP was an excellent guide and Tandin our driver had great initiative and a fantastic entertainer.

Everywhere in Bhutan felt so serene

Hi Sonam,

The below is our feedback

We were full of anticipation when we first saw the Himalayan mountain ranges on the plane. Since then, we enjoyed very much of Bhutan's beautiful scenery, rich culture and of course your warm people. The colours of Bhutan are so vivid, we need not have good skills to produce good pictures. Everywhere felt so serene, it truly relaxes our mind. We were mesmerised by the temples, Dzongs, Chorten, Paintings, bridges and the stories of Buddhism but we really need to work very hard remembering the names and differentiating the different deities... :) We have walked so much in a short ten days and those were really good workouts for city dwellers like us who lacked exercises.

We have enjoyed very much in Bhutan

Dear Sangay,

Thank you so much. My dad and I had enjoyed ourselves very much to Bhutan.

I would give you a detailed feedback.

Lodging:
The hotel Norbuling staff at Thimphu were exceptionally warm and polite to us. We are very happy with the spacious room provided by this hotel. Dinner and breakfast at this hotel was excellent too. The massage was superb too.

Vara Hotel at Punakha has spacious room but the toilet has a smell (think maybe because of the gas for heater), though there was no television, I have no complain because the surrounding was full of nature activity, I had a fun time watching the sparrows. The food they provide was not as good as compared to Norbuling but acceptable. Massage not that good as they do only have a special bed, they make use of hotel bed.

Bhutan was fantastic - the scenery, people and accommodation

Dear Sonam,

Thank you very much for your kind message and apologies that I have not responded earlier. The trip was fantastic. The scenery, the people, accommodation - everything was great even though I will not adopt cheese and chill as part of my diet. As for arra, I loved the alcohol, but a fried egg? Different and definitely something to tell my drinking mates about.

In summary:

Guide - KP was fantastic. Flexible-lah.
Itinerary - Well designed and two nights in each hotel is very sensible. Keep this going. Our only regret is not having done more study on Buddhism. We have both travelled in Bhuddist countries and are familiar with the religion - but we really needed much more work on the deities and their many manifestations as they permeate Bhutan. Tell your customers.

We enjoyed our trip very much! All thanks to the staff of Druk Asia and of course our wonderful guide Kinley (KP) and our very skilled driver, who both made getting to all the attractions easy, informative and adventurous. A special thanks from me to KP, for his help in getting down from Taktsang Monastery -or else I may still be there! Very special thanks from Alex and Roland to KP, for his help in shopping (and still doing so!) and his advice on where and what to buy. Here are a few pictures too…. Kadinchhey La
