I had initially planned my trip to Bhutan in 2023, but it was postponed until July-August 2025. I approached the trip with an open mind and heart, albeit with limited research. Unlike my usual solo travels, I opted for a guided tour this time. The main purpose of this 10-day journey was to embark on a pilgrimage to Guru Padmasambhava. In recent years, I’ve traveled less, having grown weary of constant trips. Yet, this visit to Bhutan was a spontaneous decision. Looking back, everything unfolded perfectly—especially since the final day of my trip coincided with the annual opening of Guru Rinpoche’s meditation cave. What incredible luck!
