The guide and driver were wonderful and excellent

It was nice experience and holidays in Bhutan, the guide and driver were wonderful and excellent. Scenery, culture and people are very unique and natural. Accommodations were fine, as well as the food, however the food was very monotonous . Since the first day is normally either form BKK/ India and most of tourists are tired after flight and sleepless night (not sure if the flight is from India) in BKK, I just wondering if the itinerary on the first day can be more relaxing. I was driven for about +/- 2 hours to the Chelela pass, followed by hiking 2 hours (2 ways) to and from Kila Goemba, phew..it was very tiring... The rests are nice and wonderful, especially Bhumtang. So green and spectacular. I did enjoy the hot stone bath in the Rinchen Ling Resort and the traditional fire place.

You can touch clouds on the hill and the heart of the loving people.

Everything went perfect; my flight of Drukair landed on the picturesque Paro valley. It was noon. I was very much welcomed by Ms Kinley a tour guide from DrukAsia. We proceeded to Punakha to visit Fort which is huge building, a portion of it is currently serving as local administrations and the rest of it contains monastery & temples. Past the green valley, hills and roadside fruit sellers, we back to Thimphu. Spent night at Kisa Hotel. We ventured Thimphu city in the morning and visited Art & Craft centre and the giant Buddha in construction. From the top of the hill, I saw a small but beautiful city embraced by surrounding valleys. No noise, no pollution, no crowd & no high-rise habitat; a river flows quietly through the city.

Making our journey to Bhutan an enjoyable and meaningful one

We would like to say a big "Thank You" to Sonam and his colleagues from Druk Asia for making our journey to Bhutan an enjoyable and meaningful one. We made a last minute decision on the 29th May 2011 to travel to Bhutan on the 06th June 2011 and everything was arranged nicely for us by the 1 June 2011 including our visa and accommodations. Super-efficient! On reaching Bhutan, we are happy to have a wonderful guide and driver to take care of us throughout the whole trip. The guide was very knowledgeable and both of them were very patience with us. We would say almost every request that we made along the trip was made possible to us through their flexibilities and kind accommodations.
