The main purpose of this 10-day journey was to embark on a pilgrimage to Guru Padmasambhava. In recent years, I’ve traveled less, having grown weary of constant trips. Yet, this visit to Bhutan was a spontaneous decision. Looking back, everything unfolded perfectly—especially since the final day of my trip coincided with the annual opening of Guru Rinpoche’s meditation cave. What incredible luck!

My trip to Bhutan with Druk Asia was absolutely fantastic, both the guide (Tashi) and the driver (Tshering) were really kind and very knowledgeable. I was surprised to learn that the agency actually inspects the hotels they choose for their guests in person – indeed all the hotels were very clean, with amazing service. I totally recommend Druk Asia to anyone planning to go to Bhutan!

I had the best birthday trip to Bhutan. Exchanging correspondence with Sonam during the planning stage of the trip was so smooth, all my inquiries were answered promptly and the changes on my itinerary were well accommodated. Spending 9 days in Bhutan was so fun because we had an amazing crew. Our guide, Tashi, shared a lot interesting information about each place that we visited, as well as life, culture and traditions of Bhutanese people. He made sure that we were enjoying and comfortable at all times. Our driver, Dorji, made us feel safe during our travels from one valley to another given the narrow and steep roads of Bhutan.
