Tiger's Nest, worth every single exhausting step

Dear Sangay,

Hope all is well with you!

My sincere apologies for taking so long to reply to your email.

Chi and I had an amazing time in Bhutan. A wonderful modern developing country full of respect for traditional values. The holiday itself allowed us to see so much of the beauty that Bhutan has to offer. Great views from hill top overlooking small towns, travelling from Dzong to Dzong, learning about the customs and culture. Everything we did were flexible especially when we fell ill with the flu and the wonderful hotel staffs looked after us, home away from home! We even had time for other excursions like a visit to a local school (not included in our itinerary) and meet the children who were all very excited to practice their language skill and question us about London UK.

Chi missed the first day of the Paro Festival but meeting and talking to the Queen’s Mother on the second day made up for the sick day. Luckily we were very fortunate to meet a Lama visiting Bhutan, staying in the house next door to our hotel. Undoubtedly and without question the highlight of our tour was hiking up to the Tigers’ Nest, faster than we had expected and worth every single exhausting step!!!

We would both defiantly return, hopefully be fitter to enjoy the numerous wonderful hikes that we missed out on this time round.

Thank you very much for making this holiday so memorable. It has way exceeded our expectations!

Best regards
