Bhutan is beautiful and peaceful

Hi Sangay,

I am home now and wanted to write you. Thanks for arranging the trip. You did a great job of organizing things. I thoroughly enjoyed the Tiger's Nest, the nature walk, the Dochula Pass, and the Punakha Dzong. Bhutan is beautiful and peaceful.

Feedback on the hotels:

- Bhutan Suites needs to seriously update. Although I enjoy vegetarian meals, the food was cold and tasteless.
- Kichu Resort Wangdue is in an incredibly peaceful setting. The grounds are well-maintained.
- Hotel Lobesa is new and will be nice when it is finished. The owner is doing the best he can and is very customer-oriented.
- Hotel Drukchen is new and also will be nice when it is finished. The food was a higher quality. The employees/management went the extra mile to cook breakfast very early in the morning for me.

Regarding the guide, I was expecting someone who could speak and understand better English. He does not know Bhutanese history as well as he should. He was not proactive in pointing out the historical significance of an area, building, or Dzong. That was critical to me; I wanted to learn more about the Kingdom of Bhutan. The driver need an excellent job on some very tough roads.

I have and will recommend Druk Asia to friends in the US and Singapore.
