Sketch Bhutan is the best tour ever!

Sketch Bhutan is the best tour ever! It was a relaxed but well organised tour, with everything done to accommodate the preferences of the entire group. There is something very special in actually stopping to take the time to observe and sketch down a scene. It allowed us to view the sights with an entirely different eye, compared to the normal snap and go tourist. Of course, without proper guidance, sketching would have been a frustrating or almost impossible endeavour, and so the artist teachers, Erwin and Rajesh were there to save the day! They were always around to help and give their tips and suggestions. Highly recommended if you are looking for a wholly new experience and would like to try your hand at sketching!

Thank you Erwin and all the DrukAsia team for such a memorable trip.

The trip itself went flawlessly. DrukAsia's crew was really kind, supportive and knowledgeable. The hotels' selection and the food were also superb. But the most special part was how carefully Erwin organized the program and devoted to allowing us to have a wonderful time, not only with his lessons (he is really passionate about teaching and sharing his knowledge) but the several opportunities to interact with local people and artists.

This is truly one of the most memorable trips I have ever taken

This is truly one of the most memorable trips I have ever taken. The scenery is as picturesque as how it looks in the photos and the Bhutanese people is charming, friendly and their hospitality is second to none. A special thanks to our guide who went out of his way to help and take extra care of some of us who had difficulty hiking up Tiger's Nest.

Shooting, learning and having FUN, all at the same time.

I am especially grateful that you respected our physical limitations and did NOT make us feel like "slowpokes" climbing the Tiger's Nest. In fact, you made it enjoyable with your charming sense of humor. Completing the trek to Taktsang was an achievement. THANK YOU for your patience and encouragement.

Meeting the very nice fellow PhotoTrekkers is the icing on the cake!

My favorite part was the hardest one - the trek to Tiger's Nest! That day was hands down the best part of the tour for me. Next is Memorial Chortem. But overall, there was no "bad" day during the tour - we were blessed with good weather and the itinerary had been well thought out. I specially appreciate that Lester gave me the chance to do some landscape photography whenever the opportunity rises.

The Jomolhari Trek Was Spectacular And breath-taking

Kuzu Zangpola,
I just arrived back in Germany two days ago after visiting Nepal for another week of Paragliding.
I wanted to send you a big Thank you (Kadrin chhey) for organizing this incredible trip to Bhutan - a real highlight in my travel diary. The Jomolhari Trek was spectacular and breath-taking.
Luckily, I heard about the Dechenphu Tsechu (which was not on your list). Ngawang managed to get us there exactly at the right time. We saw the Royal family (the 5. king, his wife and son) plus the prime minister and other high officials. What more can you ask for!
Ngawang (guide) and Dawa (driver) have done a great job. Big credits to them for making this trip so great! We had a lot of fun together and I was impressed by Ngawang's knowledge. I hope that DrukAsia gives them the rewards they

My Stay At Bhutan Was A Great And Memorable One

Good evening!

My stay at Bhutan was a great and memorable one. Will be returning to Bhutan definitely.

Bhutanese people are friendly, magnificent scenery, rich culture, nice food and etc etc (too many things to be listed down). This 7D6N tour is indeed enriching myself not just from the trip itself, but also an addition request to drop by to a school during the tour for donation of stationary. The school principal was actually willing and happy to host and show me around the school explaining the school curriculum to how school can self sustain. It broaden my horizon on how knowledgeable Bhutanese can be and it is their perspective that actually make them the

I Had Such A Wonderful Time In Bhutan

I had such a wonderful time in Bhutan. The place is so beautiful, nature so untouched, people so friendly and free-spirited.

I spent a few days in the mountains and the experience was really awesome. I wasn't quite well prepared or trained for the trek but the crew team was so patient and caring, constantly kept a lookout for me throughout the journey. On Day 3 I got mountain sickness and did not get to carry on with the trek uphill. The team took great care of me when I was unwell and I feel so touched and thankful. I didn't want the experience to end and so we continued to stay on in the mountains at a lower altitude and the horseman invited even the team and I to his home.
