The entire trip went relatively very smooth
I just got back to the Philippines last night because I spent a couple of days in Singapore before flying home.
I was really intending to write you an e-mail to thank you for making all the travel arrangements. As I've mentioned to my guide, I was considering different travel agencies at the onset but in the end, I chose Druk Asia primarily because I found you to be very prompt and responsive to all my queries and e-mails. I thought that you were very professional in that sense.
The entire trip went relatively very smooth. My guide, Yeshey was very knowledgeable and respectful. He was already not feeling well the last 2 days, but he still forced himself to finish the job. He was very patient with me and helped me climb the Tiger's Nest. I had to hold on to him a lot of times so as not to lose my balance during the hike. My driver, Chochen, was a very safe driver.
If anything (although very minor), I wish I didn't have to go to the airport 3 hours before the flight because when I got there, the check-in counter was still closed and then there were no people at the Immigration desk yet, so I and the other clients of Druk Asia, had to wait when we could have gotten a bit more sleep :) But again, this is a small inconvenience relative to the flawless execution of the entire itinerary.
Some highlights of my trip which were totally unplanned included: getting invited to a private fashion show (by CDK) at Le Meridien Thimpu, having good conversation over cup of tea with some of the female monks in the nunnery; seeing the Queen Mother (eldest) as she circled the temple grounds of the nunnery and seeing the Queen Mother (mother of the King) during the hike to one of the temples in Punakha.
