Bhutan Tiger's Nest is simply breath-taking

Hi, Sangay.

Ku-zu-zang-po-la!

Ain’t no mountain higher, and valley broader!
A vast green carpet lying on a high altitude at Gangtey welcomes me with warm sun and soothing breeze! I cannot hide my excitement and jump on a ground that’s 2900 m above sea level! Woohoo! And that’s the highest place I’ve ever done my shopping at. I bought a small souvenir by a painter who spreads out his work on that valley.

Tiger’s Nest (Taktsang Monastery) is simply breath-taking, the magnificent stature on a cliff that’s 3100 m above sea level! And, Punakha Dzong, the temple by the river, is another WOW! structure. The smile of Bhutanese kids, the respect and practice of Bhutanese to their rich culture, the uniquely yummy Bhutanese food, particularly the chilli cheese, keep lingering on my mind!

Oh ya, soaking in a traditional hot stone bathtub, is “shiok”! (a slang used in Malaysia & Singapore to convey a feeling of sheer pleasure!)

Kadin-Chhey!
